Terms of Service

By accessing or using Patternd ("the Service," "we," "us," or "our"), you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms of Service ("Terms"), and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Patternd. Your continued use of the Service after any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Patternd is a trading journal and performance analytics platform that allows users to log trades, track behavioral patterns, analyze performance data, and manage trading-related records. The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only.

Patternd is not a brokerage, investment adviser, financial adviser, or any other kind of financial service provider. We do not execute trades, provide investment recommendations, manage funds, or hold any licenses to provide financial services. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

Trading financial instruments including but not limited to stocks, futures, forex, cryptocurrencies, and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not appropriate for all investors. You may lose some or all of your invested capital.

Patternd provides tools for recording and analyzing your own trading history. Any charts, statistics, insights, patterns, or other outputs generated by Patternd are based solely on the data you enter and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument.

Past performance displayed in Patternd does not guarantee, predict, or imply future results. You are solely responsible for your own investment and trading decisions. Patternd and its operators shall have no liability whatsoever for any losses you incur as a result of trading activity.

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at support@patternd.co if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

You may not create more than one free account. Abuse of the free plan (e.g., repeatedly creating accounts to circumvent trade limits) may result in termination of all associated accounts.

Patternd offers a free plan and paid subscription plans (Starter, Growth, Professional). Paid plans are billed on a monthly recurring basis.

Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each month on your billing date unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

No Refunds: All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not issue refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused periods after cancellation, or any other reason, except where required by applicable law.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via Dashboard → Settings → Account → "Manage subscription", via your Lemon Squeezy billing portal (linked in your subscription confirmation email), or by contacting us at support@patternd.co. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will revert to the free plan. Cancellation does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already charged.

Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any price change by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

Early Access Pricing: Subscribers who join before September 1, 2026 are eligible for Early Access pricing ("grandfathered rate"). This rate is locked for the lifetime of your subscription and will not be changed by us, provided your subscription remains continuously active. If you cancel your subscription and later resubscribe after September 1, 2026, the then-current regular pricing will apply — the grandfathered rate is forfeited upon cancellation.

Payment Processing: Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service and privacy policy. We do not store your full payment card details.

Failed Payments: If a payment fails, your subscription may be suspended or downgraded. We are not liable for any loss of access to features resulting from a failed payment.

The free plan is provided at no cost and includes up to 50 trades and limited features. We reserve the right to modify the free plan's features and limits, or to discontinue the free plan, at any time with reasonable notice.

If you choose to connect exchange API keys to Patternd, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are solely responsible for generating and managing your API keys with appropriate permissions (read-only recommended)
• Patternd stores API keys encrypted using AES-256 encryption
• Patternd uses API keys only to read trade history and account data — we never execute trades or withdrawals
• You should immediately revoke any API key you believe has been compromised
• Patternd is not responsible for any loss arising from the compromise or misuse of API keys you provide

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Use the Service to facilitate market manipulation, insider trading, or any other illegal financial activity
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service by automated means
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload content that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
• Use the Service to distribute malware, spam, or any harmful content

Our property: The Patternd platform, including its design, software, algorithms, features, and content (excluding user-submitted data), is the intellectual property of Patternd and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Your data: You retain ownership of all trade data, notes, and other content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant Patternd a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

We do not use your trade data to train any machine learning models, sell it to third parties, or use it for any purpose other than providing the Service to you. All behavioral pattern analysis is rule-based and applied solely within your own account.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data or analytics generated by the Service.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PATTERND, ITS OPERATORS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Trading losses or financial losses of any kind
• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill
• Damages arising from unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Service interruptions, bugs, or data loss

IN ANY CASE, PATTERND'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES YOU PAID TO PATTERND IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so the above limitations may not apply to you in full.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Patternd and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your trading decisions or financial losses; or (d) your violation of any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct we deem harmful to the Service or other users.

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@patternd.co. Upon deletion, your data will be removed from active systems within 30 days; encrypted backups may retain data for up to an additional 30 days before being overwritten. Certain records (e.g. billing records) may be retained longer where required by law. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of any fees already paid.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes in advance. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Istanbul, Turkey.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may also have rights under applicable EU consumer protection law that cannot be waived by contract.
